HISTORY

Baker Concrete Construction, Inc. was founded in 1968 in Oxford, Ohio. Evolving from modest beginnings, Daniel L. Baker learned the cement finisher's trade under the guidance of his grandfather, Elmer Baker, a cement and stone mason for 60 years. Dan started his own business with his two brothers, and Baker Cement, as it was first known, placed and finished concrete in the residential market.

As the company developed a reputation for hard work, customer satisfaction, quality, and the ability to meet a schedule, the size of the company and scope of work increased dramatically. Residential work was expanded to include light commercial and light industrial projects, super-flat industrial floors, concrete paving, and site concrete. Total concrete packages, including large superstructures, parking garages, and heavy industrial projects have become the backbone of the company.

Baker Concrete presently operates throughout the continental United States and is committed to building upon our tradition of creating concrete solutions from concept to completion into the 21st century.
